Title: advice on unknown car model
Post by: JimE on 26 September 2012, 09:35:30
Guys I am thinking of picking up a cheap 4x4 for the winter,  a local garage is selling a 1991 2.7td Nissan Pathfinder, It looks in fairly good nick and being that age shouldn't have loads of electronic bits etc to go wrong, anyone ever heard of them? I can't find much on the net about them. Wondered if it may be the same engine as the 2.7td Terrano. Its on fleabay on aclassified ad at the moment. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Unless someone here may have a 4x4 they are thinking of selling?

I do like it when people imply I don't know what I am talking about. NOT  >:(

It is highly probable it was an grey import but it IS a Pathfinder!!!!!

A rather excessive and unneccassary response, it must be a grey import (which is all the response which was required!)

Looks like it's along the same lines as the Frontera and Isuzu Rodeo(?) of that era :-\

So you say you are looking at a cheap 4x4, a particular brand and model but finding nothing on them.

Cem pointed out at that year, here in the UK its branded another name. Perhaps thats why you found little on them, very helpful advice I thought? You never stated you thought it was an import.

You just can't help some people  ::)

But it looks like a shit shed of a 4x4 to me, hope you find that advice helpful  :y
