So some may remember the issues I had with ETS Exhausts, glad to say a replacement arrived, its all fitted together.
3.2 goes a bit better now its got a new exhaust, but the new fuel filter and replacement o2 sensor could also be helping.
But back on topic, I have a centre section (drivers side) exhaust which is brand spankers, but not bent in the right place to fit.
What shall I do with it? ETS don't want it back, I could weigh it in? I was thinking of cutting tube bits off for later repairs, but not sure :-\
Any suggestions?
Cheers :y

Stick it in the garage till you need it (or part of it) mate ;) If you cut bits off it now sods law says they will be too short. ;)
Or give it to me ::)

Keep it for repairs IMO. As said. :)

Stick it in the ground.
Call it art. :y

Cheers chaps, I'll keep it for future repairs. Just got to stash in the garage somewhere!

Make a twin exit out of it :)
3.2 already has twin exit pipes, but if you mean an exit each side of the bumper, nahhhh

There is a small danger of keeping faulty parts. I used to keep everything, duff or good, you can easily forget it is bent wrong and in a couple of years sell it someone and then issues arise. Or even try to fit on your own car. If you have a very good memory then possibly not a problem.
I now dispose of anything that is mildly faulty, for my own piece of mind. Sadly I am still keeping stuff that I will never use, I have 2 good cylinder heads and 2 good cats for a 2.5. We have a 2.6. The heads possibly could be used at a push but the cats are different.
If you keep it in one bit would suggest writing on it in permanent marker what is wrong with it.

Wonder if it could be straightened - its one bend is too sharp. Nothing to lose

I think Estate centres are different? Only one in the fleet needing a new exhaust soon is motherT's 3.0, so it can't be used for that :(
Guess could have a go, but then its only useful to someone local as transporting it to a buyer is not much of an option costing their low cost new anyway.
Guessing rusty bullet is a couple of years away from a new zorst?
I'm looking at 3 years minimum, if not 5 years before current one fails.
Unless anyone local to me in either London or Brackley is interested?
