Just looking at the tyres and spotted the rear left is well worn. Is there anything obvious that would cause 1 side to be well worn or is this a thing with RWD ? Putting it down to previous owners neglect but im guessing tracking would be worth doing.

Yeah, thats how they wear

When I got my Omega, both offside and near side rear tyres were completely bold on inner edge, but had a good 4mm on outer edge.
I got the tracking on all four corners lazer alligned and 12k miles later there is about 4mm on inner edge and 5mm on outer, so considerably better. People do recommend a place called wheels in motion, as they have special set up worked out for older cars to compensate for suspension and rubber bush deterioration. Google them but they are down south somewhere so a fair distance. I used an independent guy at a local garage who does all the local dealer work including Vauxhalls and he did similar alterations for wear. Happy to give you details if you want.

You need to replace tyres then get proper 4 wheel geometry done by somebody who understands how the machine they are using and an Omega set up works :y

Christ, and I thought my tyres were getting thin ;D ;D :y
Full Geo and new tyres for you ;) :y

I don't think wearing that unevenly is normal, even though it's common. Get it loooked at it, for your own safety :) :y

If set correctly;
all 4 tyres should show more inner edge wear
the rears will wear in the middle.
The fronts will wear on the edges
Wim recomend Setup once a year. Full geometric set up only, for caster, camber and toe at the front. Camber and toe combined at the rear.
Also, I wonder if one of the tyres was replaced early, due to unrepairable puncture or similar? Or are you saying its purely an odd wear issue due to setup problems? If so its usually a seized track rod in the rear, as that's the only adjustment available on the back axle.
With track rods, It's always worth a good soaking in penetrating oil a week or so prior to set up. :)

Ps, obviously that tyre should have been binned long ago. :-X ;)
