Title: Wet castle combe vid
Post by: Ernie on 23 April 2008, 01:12:12
As above.
First trip out of the day in the wet with brand new hankook DRY tyres and a clutch cable on its way out.
I was havin issues with the clutch cable then it snapped in the pit area on my second run out.
I had a spare so changed it there and got out in the next session.
Enjoy and i cant wait to go out again in the dry.

Castle Coombe is a great track to drive, takes a little getting used to but it is a nice mix of fast and slow corners.

I'm toying with taking the Alfa on a track day, only worry is it will become addictive

I really enjoyed that. Used to race @ Angmering W. Sx but only on the oval in Prodstox (Baby Bangers) Great fun & HUGE Buzz but would love to do a proper circuit race.
Looking forward to your dry lap! :D, Guy.

Bigger worry (for me) would be "Quarry Corner" ... :)   If I was driving it is too tight, too close to the tyre wall, and potentially too expensive !!!

I'd love to "do" a track day .. but far too old and slow .. :(
