Title: MV6 Front Seats PFL and FL Identification?
Post by: zirk on 04 October 2012, 12:32:44
Ok, I know on the clothe type you can tell the difference due to the clothe being a different material on the PFL and FL.

My question is on the Leather flavour, is there an easy to way to confirm which is PFL and early FL (very late FL had a different grain) , ie part no's or just by looking at them?.

Seem to remember something about the Head rests aren't swappable, not confirmed, but still need to know which seat is which (Having a sort out).

Thanks.

Thanks James, just relised I made an error, forget PFL, I really ment MFL and FL :-[

So to ask the question again,, just  by looking at them, ie, not in the Car, identifying MFL and FL MV6 leather front seats.

Thanks again  :-[ :y

There is an easier way:  8)

MFL MV6 seats only have the following electrical connections:

Side airbags (2 thin wires)
Seat belt pre-tensioner (2 thin wires)
Heated seat (2 thick wires)
Motor supply (2 thick wires)

So, that's a total of 8 wires.

FL seats have more wires for the heated seat connections.

So, if it's 8 it's a MFL, more than 8 a FL  :y

Just had a look, 2000 FL also has 8 wires, although 2 of the connectors where pink inside?
