Title: 3.0 - 3.2 part differences??

To anyone whos played around with a 3.0 and a 3.2! Would the master brake cylinder and PAS unit from a 3.0 fit into a 3.2? Any advice will be appreciated and the winning advisor will be rewarded with a packet of nobbys nuts sent via post!  :y

I have a feeling the master cylinder changed when vented rear brakes came in.. although it might have been with the 4 channel ABS system. There should be numbers indicating the bore sizes cast into it.

As for the PAS system, I think the pump might be different on a 3.2 versus the 3.0 but someone who knows for sure will no doubt be along too.

Thanks for the info KW! Im pretty sure my rears discs are vented   :(

I think there are 2 numbers on the side of the MC, giving the diameters of the 2 cylinders. That should tell you if they're the same.
