I think he was brilliant.....and as Halfred P. Doolittle in my favourite movie of all "My Fair Lady"......Oh, it`s the only film that can get me dewy-eyed and I so-adore a good sing-along (and I`m still in love with Freddie {Jeremy Brett):

No one has yet mentioned the all time great that was George formby :o :o or even Sir Norman wisdom.. i`ve got all of georges dvd`s and a few of Sir normans... i met him by accident at knutsford services southbound on the m6 about 10-12 years ago i walked past him and it was one of those i know you moments i was shy about asking for his autograph i think his daughter or son lived in the knutsford cheshire area..that docu about him a few weeks back brought a tear to my eye of how he had suffered with althzheimers i think it was.He could still make people laugh and i think he used to play the piano and entertain the old un`s in the retirement home he went too.... :y an absololute legend... :y
