Title: New radiator.
Post by: kluku5 on 09 October 2012, 23:06:47
I have a leaking rad, so I asked around for a used one, and several companies offered me one for 60 euros. One offer was 115 euros for a new one. It seems to be a Cadillac Catera's, 97 yr I think. Mine is 2000 year 3.0 v6. So any ideas, will that rad fit my car, or should I even buy that, because it seems a bit cheap for a new radiator?

Thank you :)

I can't see why it shouldn't fit, your Omega is a Catera in the States. As long as they both have an auto box cooler built into the side of it, (assuming your is auto) then they should be the same.  :y

Yes it is auto. Here's a picture that they sent me

Is that cooler there?

The oil cooler will be the two M22x1.5 fittings on the left hand side.

So, just to make it clear.

The oil cooler will connect to those connections. The radiator on the picture has that cooler built in, and so will fit my car, so it is a great deal.

Am I right?
A lot of questions I know, but I don't know much about that subject.

Thanks again :)
