Post by: Jusme on 13 October 2012, 05:59:06
Over the past two weeks I am getting loads of this junk every day.

contact-89200@treatsanddollarheron.com, contact-81200@togethertoad.com, contact-33159@upliftingseal.com, contact-3635@redletterdaykudu.com, contact-19172@smilesmole.com.  contact-85879@browniestalk.com, contact-28288@breatheweight.com, contact-74370@butterflykissestwig.com, contact-41596@vivaciousgoat.com, contact-48578@celebratesofa.com, contact-23187@treesgoat.com, contact-28293@bloomingwindow.com, contact-43691@candlelightwaste.com,  contact-49818@comedyornament.com, contact-6682@drizzlemint.com, contact-98251@laughtercrow.com, contact-90993@eatrobin.com, contact-45858@euphoricquiet.com, contact-9791@childhoodwindow.com

If I Google the .com address of each and every one, it takes me to the 'same' website which states : 'Welcome to our website We offer amazing offers and coupons for you to use and share. Sign up today and take full advantage of our offers'!
One exception I have found is the one, breatheweight.com which when I Google gives me, Associated Email: contact-56767@breatheweight.com
Associated User Account: Your Credit Scores
IP: 188.213.104.86 The ip address 188.213.104.86 has been recorded as a spammers ip. If you have had a member sign up with this address you may want to consider contacting them, and possibly banning them from your site.

I have unsubscribed from the site each and every time, but as the e-mail address changes constantly it looks like I'm never going to see an end to it ? The other thing I noticed is, after visiting these sites I get one of those hideous adverts that you simply cannot get rid of, incidentally advertising 'NetFlix'..  >:( Can anyone help.... Please..  :y

Have you been watching any football or sport on any shall we say foregn streeming sites ?

I've been getting around 20 a day since I watched a footie match last week.

Maybe a idea to clean up computer history / cookies and carry out a malware / anti virus scan to get rid of the little buggers.
Also check t see if any new pieces of software have misteriously installed themselfs while you have been browsing.

hmmmm ? Don't know how much more careful I can be ? I 'ONLY' go to my hotmail inbox, this forum. and my home page on the dreaded Facebook to check if my boy has been doing wrong. Apart from that the only other site I have used recently is Experian for my credit score. But I did notice when closing down last night that up popped, ' new programs installed' ? I checked and found it was Google Chrome. Honestly officer, 'I didn't do it'....  :( Thank you though gents for your advice, I do empty out my temp files and cookies weekly, yep.. and run your computer with low privileges that even doesnt have read permissions on windows and program folders when you visit biology sites   [and disable all java and client side scripts] Thank you cem, but sadly you may as well be speaking Martian. I understand, ' switch on, switch off'. That's about it. Isn't Java coffee ?? 'biology sites' ?? OMG. Where's my headache tablets ?  :-[

Both Hotmail and Facebook will easily give your email address to anyone who wants it...

Yep, I get more spam through hotmail than any other email address, including the one used for surveys and competitions by SWMBO and myself :o
