Title: Anyone with an iPhone who doesn't like the new maps
Post by: Del Boy on 16 October 2012, 08:14:03
Go on Google Maps on Safari, then click the little arrow on the bottom of the page and click add to home screen. You then get Google Maps and you can even get street view :y. Not quite as fluid as the maps that were on there, but good nonetheless.

Indeed. There'll be a Google Maps App soon which will go down very well! Unfortunately I'm not expecting it to be free ::)

Apples rumoured mini tablet is about the same size as the Galaxy afaict. Which says it all really.

Don't get me wrong, not knocking the Galaxy... Apart from its way too big for what i want. :)

Nothing wrong with the Galaxy, I just really can't get on with Android no matter what device I try. The iPhone is just so simple, and as I'm a simpleton it makes perfect sense :).

Yes the little arrow is the bookmarks symbol, it will add a bookmark to any of the locations listed. In this case, it's adding a bookmark to the homepage. :y

The day someone releases a useable Android email client, I will consider it.
