Technically yes, but not without first jumping through lots of hoops,  and then following strict guidelines :y

Yes you can, but there are certain mandatory things you must do;

All lights capable of emitting blue must be covered, if fitted with blue lenses and de-activated when on road. I.e. removal of fuses etc. Lights emitting blue but with clear lenese are acceptable as long as fuese are removed.

All force specific items such as crests, website addresses, and any 'POLICE' wording must be covered when on the public road. 'Not in Service' signs must also be present. Battenburg markings are ok, along with rear chevrons and roof codes.

Log book must be filled in for all journeys on the road, for fuel, battery charging, road testing and travel to shows etc.

So, it can be used...but carefully  :y

I know that there are many that do, but I can never get the idea of buying & running a 'Police car' .......  :-\ :-\
