Post by: danzigfan on 23 October 2012, 15:48:16
Sorry for being a PITA but I haven't seen this before in my omega. I've found it in replacement rear door

There blowers, the very early elites had a set of blowers fitted in the rear doors that drew warm air from the rear passenger footwell and blew it onto the rear windows....these are them (with the ducting)

It looks like some kind of demisting fan but for elite or mv6 maybe? My door carpet doesn't have any extra "air output"

Yup, only fitted to 94 and 95 IIRC. Certainly had gone by the time 97 came around.

My 97 P Elite estate had them, but now I come to think of it I'm not sure that my 97 R Elite saloon did, so maybe they disappeared with the mini facelift?

My '95 elite estate has them...  not sure they really do much though.
