had my td 10yrs almost & just experinced my first h/light bulb failure. i went to buy a bulb with the intention of changing it at the place of purchase, but changed my mind as the battery is in the way. i was wondering though would it be easier to actually take the light out. :-\ :y was not sure which bulbs i needed

Definitely not, Battery comes out in minutes ;)

I'd loosen battery a bit, and shift it around to gain access

I got a set of Leds for the side lights, there no way I can get my hands in there :-[ Im glad someone answered ? about head lights. Do I need to remove air box to get drivers side in :y

Personally,I find it easier to remove the headlights. It doesnt take 5 minutes, and then you have plenty of room to do what you want.

Plenty of space that side, no need to remove airbox
