Hi guys,
The colour coded cover off the passenger side wing mirror has come off and is lost sadly so can't simply stick it back on.
Was intending to replace the whole wing mirror but the car is silver...but a funny silver ::) so I can't seem to find a replaceent with the exact colour code.
SO.
I came across these on the bay.... will these look right do you reckon? so it'll be a silver car with black wing mirrors. I'm thinking it'll look good but then I have got the artistic capabilities of a worm :)
Cheers.

Why not get them in primer and spray with a rattle can to match car? IMO the black ones would look out of place mate

Yep - if they're the correct ones for your car - get a colour matched spray can from a good factors based on your paint code. Spray the covers before fitting, allow to dry, and fit carefully :y

Light coats built up gradually rather than holding the can an inch away from what your spraying is the way to go.One carefully applied closer final coat for a nice glossy finish at the end. Practice the final coat first so you dont get runs everywhere just as youve nearly finished the job. Patience is definitely required. :y

cheers mate. helpful as ever :y :y :y
in fairness to myself i actually did a good job of the paint spray. where i fell short was the grinding of the rust and the patching up with the filler :-[ at least with this cover the surface is primed and perfect before i start ;D ;D ;D

Lightly flat the primed covers before putting colour on - use 1000 grit wet&dry to clean surface to allow colour coat to "stick" properly ;)
