Hi guys. Long time no see.
Well with the replacement Vectra being used to ferry me to and from Cornwall a couple of times a month (700 mile round trip) the Omega has been left standing outside looking a tad sorry for itself for the past 3 months. I'm back for a week now and I need to get her going because I NEED to sell her. There were no problems with it before I went away so is it just going to be a case of throw the battery back in and start her up or would it be wise to do anything else first?
Cheers.

Just started my x reg a couple of days ago, after 9 months.
Disconnected coil pack and turned over a few times to get oil pressure up a bit. Reconnected and started on first turn.
Miss fire on one cylinder for about 30 seconds then ok. Spanner light on as expected, couple Auto box messages when I tried to move it, not surprised, drove it around the street, brakes grinding a bit, LPG switched in fine.
Off for MOT on Friday, if It passes got to decide what to do with it almost tempted to use it until it drops dead

Did as you said. She fired up without so much as a cough. Ran rough for a second or two then settled down to the normal burble.
I miss this car. :(

Had the same with my 2.2 after getting the 3.2, after 9 months of not being started, popped a battery jumper on, started first go!

Three years for me :y
But it wasn't so clean cut for me.
Miss-fired big time but after a service plus new coil and leads she's a goddun. :y
