Boot pop button is still okay but locking/opening doors is no more :-\
What gives?

Collapsed or broken buttons, does the LED flash with each button, this will confirm.

LED has never flashed since owning it!

If you take the Fob apart, careful not to loose the Transponder Chip, from there you should see if its a colasped button ie, does not click or if the switch needs resoldering and or the rubber has been worn against the switch.
If its the latter, sometimes to get you out of trouble you can pack with folded paper to get it working again but its pretty much all down hill from here on, time for a new rubber outer or fob.
