Title: How do I turn a photo into an Avatar???

Tried to change my avatar temporarily, downloaded a photo to photobucket but could not put onto oof, said not an avatar?????

I only wanted to put a poppy in my avatar for the duration....not everything is aimed at defending myself from the Banned LD..... :P :P :P

How big was the picture? Maybe it was too big ......  :-\ :-\ :-\
