may be buying my grandads pajero which currently has personalised plate and disabled tax. hes recently died and my gran wants to sell the plate seperatly whats going to need doing in order for me to use it.

Couple of forms :y

1 to take the plate off the car and onto a Retention Certificate.

This may require another form to give the car a new age related plate or revert it back to the original one :y

Doubtless someone wiser shall confirm/deny ::) meanwhile google dvla personal registration numbers to see if that helps at all :y

You'll need to go to the local DVLA office in person anyway in order to change the taxation class :y

can i do that even though the logbook is in his name and hes dead?
