would a 2.2 sump fit 2.0L? I ask as collecting bits to retro fit MID and need the sender in the sump, as far as I am aware 2.0L never had MID or did they?

Doesn't look like they are interchangable, the part numbers are different between the two engines

Yep, CD & CDX

So a 2.0L cd or cdx sump should do the job then?

2.2 has balancer shafts in the sump - 2.0 hasn't
