How long does it take to change a rad on a facelift V6, mine split and the garage I used replaced it but they charged me 4 hours of labour which included adjusting the hand brake, before I go back to them to query I thought I would ask the forum, I am no mechanic but it seems excessive.

Out then in and a topup with antifreeze / burp the system ................ about 1 1/2 hours tops if they know what they are doing.
Handbrake, again about a hour

Many thanks for quick reply, got to be honest that's what I thought maybe 2 hours tops they replace a lot of rads, can't see it being a difficult job with the straight forward configuration our cars have. I shall enquire.
Thanks.

Yep about 1 1/2 hors to swap radiator start to finish :y

4 hours of labour which included adjusting the hand brake
OOF`s method, or just winding the cable adjuster up

Just gone back to the garage and they are going to advise tomorrow, did admit it seemed a bit excessive for the labour side.

Where abouts are you mate ?
It could be alot cheeper if one of the mechanic lads on here did it and you will get a propper job done ;)

If you can lay your hands on an autodata....i..c..m..e.....book which most garages use for things like this ..you can find out the times.
