Title: CCR2006 CD changer jammed.

Help please,

Only had the car a few days. Bought it knowing the cd did not work. Now trying to fix it

Error CCR comes up. The cd magazine will not eject. I checked the Vauxhall Audio Manual which says possible cause is 'a disc caught in the mechanism' but offers no suggestions how to fix other than go to Vauxhal Customer Care. If it is a stuck disc, then the last owner must have just left it - I bought the car from a trader so can't ask.

Is it possible to un-jam the magazine and if so how would I go about it. I have the radio code should it need to be disconnected from the car.

When I got my replacement CDC the magazine was stuck too. Some gentle persuasion and a pair of pliers on the disc eject lever (white tab thing) worked for me.
Worth a quick try before a strip down.
