Well, you have to put yourselves in their shoes. We're all told that MPs salaries are too low, and, indeed, receiving a paltry £65K a year for a couple of days a week, and being required to own at least 2 homes to boot, must make it difficult to put food on the table.

In such circumstances it's perfectly acceptable to defraud your employer's expenses scheme, no?
