Ibrohimovich is pure class. Was always going to be dangerous. Cracking goals. :y

Sounds like the Swedes need to change their grass dealer!!  :o

" Unfortunately the pitch was not so pleasant and prevented either side from attempting to employ a slick brand of passing football.
The grass was grown on the border between the Netherlands and Germany and transported to the stadium last Thursday by 24 lorries, which will take it all back later this week. "

No, but if selected to play then their transfer value goes up along with their wage demands, then they don't play well for Country putting club and their own self importance first :( :(

But if they don't play well I would have thought it would be negative for there wage demands etc. As you may notice I know little about these things.

I don't really think so, they get to add International Player to their CV and are judged on their club performances which are more frequent. I could be wrong but I've yet to see a player give England the total commmitment that they give to the club.

I do love it when people who know sod all about the game jump on the sack the manager players are shite bandwagon. What your forgetting it was a friendly that we used to give some new players a runout so we lost big deal doesnt mean we are crap couple of youngsters looked promising and by far wasnt the worse England performance to date

Fortunately, I didn't watch it as I gave up on England friendlies several years a go. I prefer to do something less painful and normally go to the dentist for root canal treatment with no pain killing injections.  ::) ::) ::) ::)

All I can say is, if these goals don't impress you, especially Swedens last two, then you've no business watching football at all. ::)

Pure class!

Unfortunately, missed them, but that is the price of farcical friendlies under Sven, when their were so many substitutions, I decided that I only suffer watch England in qualifiers and tournaments.

So I admit I do miss watching the expertise and class of many England friendly opponents.

Overall, I've been impressed with Roy so far, who I think has got the best out of a very limited pool of English footballing talent.
