Cant seem to remember how much oil the Omega takes on an oil change. Is it 7 litres?

As said, it all depends on how much you can get out as some will always remain no matter how long you leave it draining, I'd stick just over 5 litres in and then run the engine for around 10 seconds, then switch off and leave for 5 minutes or so and check the dip stick.
Usually it takes a litre to get from MIN to MAX on the dipstick...

Sometimes the clean, new oil is hard to see on the dipstick :o
-
I've done nearly 6 litres (probably 5.75) and its around 3/4 the way up the dip stick.
Anyway, at least I know its somewhere between 5.5 - 6 litres for next time.
Cheers.
