Title: Not a bad Carlton
Post by: omegod on 21 November 2012, 07:23:55
This looks fairly decent if the mileage is right

Not a bad price i suppose considering the niggles , brings back memories of when i use to own one ... always best to go and have a look and drive of the car if thinking of buying though  :) Just a little rough round the edges , a bit of tlc and you got a decent car , thats low mileage too and ive sen them go way past 200,000 miles ..

The gearbox will be an easy fix so no probs there.

The arches are not too bad to do, and having the repair sections is a bonus.

Even rearranging the door lock tumblers to match the ignition key isnt too hard, so overall not a bad buy at all.

The only problem I ever had with mine was the lack of oomph from the 2.0, so I'm building a 2.6/3.0 hybrid for it.
