Title: indicators not working
Post by: Webby the Bear on 21 November 2012, 17:10:57
hi guys. As above mummy bear has reported that the indicators have simply stopped working. No other faults. Recently replaced a headlights bulb if that helps. Whats first port of call? Fuses? Cheers

Pop the front cover off and you`ll see the red "block" plus two lugs (top & bottom). Release both and pull out into cabin. May need a small screwdriver for the lugs as they`re sodding tight.
Have you checked the indicator relay and fuse in cabin fusebox

ok checked the fuse. (cant find a relay for them) the fuse is fine.

checked the problem for myself and the hazards go on but dont flash. same as the indicators... they come on but dont flash.

so wud it still be this switch thats nackered? if so could one of the breakers supply? :)

cheers.

AHHH .. different from your first post   "don't work" .....  :)

"don't work" = no light = no electrickery .... fuses/relays etc

"don't flash" = lots of electrickery.. so fuses good, relays good .. but probably flasher unit nadgered .. :)

More likely to be the flasher unit (relay) ;)
