just signed up and wanted to say hello. Looking for advice on replacement rocker covers for a 2.5 V6 petrol, mine has the usual oil leak problem. On ones I've owned in the past I've put the V6 Vectra covers on but it leaves the oil filler in a real awkward place. Has anyone purchased 2nd hand plastic ones and used them and did you get any problems with leaks after. There are a few for sale on EBay, both the plastic ones and the alloy ones but I'm a bit worried the plastic ones may be warped and I'll be back to square one again!
If anyone has had experience of this I would really appreciate some feedback before I shell out.

Hello & welcome! :y
The original GM rocker covers are OK as long as they are tightened to the correct torque (8Nm) a little over 'just nipped'!
Plus of course the fitting of GM Gaskets! This is an 'Absolute MUST' Hth :y

Thanks for the advice PhilRich and I noticed I've posted this in the wrong section :-[ perhaps one of the mods can move it for me?
I'll try and call the guy who has the plastic ones for sale tomorrow and try and find out if they had any leaks before they were taken off. I'd sooner use the original ones to be honest, the vectra ones I fitted last time worked a treat but the head gasket went not long after!! probably unrelated but you never know.... :P
