Hi all.

Unfortunately I do not have enough posts to post on the for sale section.
Anybody have any idea what my car is worth.

1998, S reg has got private plate(valued at 400).
2.5 v6 tourer, silver estate.
Done 86000 miles.
Got 1 month tax left and 6 months mot

has had in last two years,

cambelt and tensioners
discs and pads all round
rocker cover gaskets
cam sensor
3 new tyres and spare brand new.
alloys in good condition.
excellent to drive


bad bits

doors rusty
got a oil leak, dont know where from, just want to get rid asap

No interest, goes for scrap at end of month.

What was the scrap value?  When I sold my 2L I think the best quote was 50 quid!

I don't understand why you don't flog the 400 quid's worth of private plate and the rest is a bonus?

quoted 250 for scrap.
no time to sell plate, p/plate companies not interested.
would prefer someone buy it as its still an excellent drive

should have put plate on retention for future use
