Email address removed.

£10, about 1.5 gallons, is probably not far off for 100% urban use in this weather, esp if auto.

My missus always used to nag me about driving too fast.  Since the birth of our daughter, she keeps having to remind me that I can do more than 40 in a 60 limit!  ::)

What kind of GSi is it mate?

Oh, and Albs... Button it!  >:(

That's good going!
I think my 2.5 MFL was more efficient than the current Elite, but that could also be manual vs auto issue too.

I alwasy found that the 2.6/3.2 were not so efficient as the 2.5/3.0

75 miles from £10 in London on the 3.2 Manual, mind you that is on that Gas stuff!, if on Petrol about 42 miles, still not as good as the 3.0 Manual though.

200 miles from the last £50... Incidently, £1.29 at the Shell between Havant and Chichester (A27 east bound), if any one happens to be down that way :y

Indeed... Must be because they are full of more superior toys :-X ::)

To the OP... Doesn't sound far off to me. Running mine on petrol I wouldn't get much more than 28 miles from £10 on a combination of town and fast A roads :o :o

Found mine starts after two glow plug attempts and a bit of a grumble for a few seconds (was an indicated -7.5 this morning). Strangely the Mrs' DTi struggles after four goes with the glowplugs and lots of turning over... and it had new glowplugs a a couple of years ago!

urm another fuel consumption thread regarding a V6, do peeps think they will be getting 40mpg or something,if they want economy buy a micra, otherwise just fill it up when the gauge is low.
  rant over.
