Billy Redden freaks SWMBO out and obviously that's why he was hired for the film. She hates that scene.  ;D

I think this is a great film, the banjo scene is very compelling and always memorable. :y :y

The "squeal like a pig" scene I think is horrific, but funny at the same time. A man experiencing what women go through all too often.  Or am I being sadistic? ::) ::) ::)  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

First saw this when I was a kid and too young to understand what was going on in the woods. But I remember I watched it and thought "Burt Reynolds is pretty cool, I want a bow and arrow when I grow up"

Then I saw Smokey and the Bandit and thought "Burt Reynolds is pretty cool, I want a Trans Am when I grow up"

I'm sure there's a message in there somewhere about what you should and shouldn't let your kids watch and what I could have acheived in life with better role models!

Films not bad but Hayseed Dixie do a good version of Battlin banjo,s Steve Martin-the actor plays Banjo-calls himself The Crow
