I've had an email from go-autogas.com with a discount for their 2013 Great Britain map showing the autogas/lpg refuelling stations or a discount on their satnav subscription.

I had a look through one about 5 years ago and picked 3 or 4 garages from around the country that I knew had either closed or stopped selling LPG... They were all still listed ::) One of them was a housing estate 5 years ago so it must have been shut a while :-X

Totally agree .. used to be useful .. now tends to be rubbish ... if you need to use it you are somewhere "different" to normal.. so you rely on it .. and trip over very quickly IME.
I now research any area I'm going to BEFORE I go, so I have a vague idea of where and what... as an example ... Chris's mum lives in Elgin ... that book shows there is a garage in one of the industrial estates in Elgin selling LPG ... for a kickoff the garage was about a mile from where it says, on a completely different road, secondly it closed 4 years ago.. :(
My research found one near Kinloss that was not listed .. probably 'cos its a VERY expensive independent.
10 minutes on T'internet before travelling is far more beneficial than that book/site IMHO
