Title: Water from scuttle in plugwells

Well above says it all really
Misfire. So put new plugs in. Misfire again so got new coilpack. Just taken the old one out and plugwells are brimmed with water. Been leaking off scuttle and filled up the wells with all the rain.
So how on earth is this one cured. I need the stupid car over Xmas day and boxing day for work.
No point putting in shiney new coilpack to have it flooded out again.
The seal at bottom of windscreen looks fine. It's the padding underneath its dripping off right onto the eco-tec strip

Little bit of silicone around the wiper spindles and the join. Best squeeze the foam as much as possible too!

Biggest leak is usually where the two pieces of the scuttle join ... bead of sealant along there works :)

I fitted an aluminium deflector under the scuttle join to deflect the water away from vulnerable parts.

test with a hose on the screen, to see where its coming in with the bonnet up. Seal the joints once its dried out, spindle is right above the drivers side.
Worst is join above pas side coil on the v engines.

See how you go on the 4 pot. I used cam cover gaskit goo, as i'd run out of a suitable sealant. They do a gutter seal in black, as a sugestion...?

Thanks for the replies.
Plugwells dried out and coilpack replaced but hopefully it'll not fill up again before the sealant comes out  :)
