Title: i've had a real result

came out yesterday morning to find a note on the windscreen, thinking the worst i read it.

it was from a guy that lives around the corner from me,who used to drive an omega saying that he had some spares to give away as he is moving and couldnt be bothered to take them with him. went round today and he had 2 boxes full of spares i couldnt belive it i was amazed at how many spares he had and all brand new not even open :o

here is a list
4 x calipers lucas
2 x sets brake pads, shoes and sensors
2 x wish bones lemforder
2 x drop links front and rear
1 x set of uprated brake pipes goodridge
2 x front wheel bearings
2 x rear wheel bearings
1 x steering idler lemforder
1 x hid kit
1 x head gasket kit genuine
30 x new bulbs various
2 x ball joints
1 x genuine door seal
1 x thermostat housing
1 x pipercross air filter
2 x light eyebrows that go on top of light

and 1 x 90448903 but i dont know what this is(looks like a small filter inside a plastic housing)

i offered him money but he said no he would rather see me keep my omega on the road than take any money :o

id just like to say that there are some real genuine people out there and merry christmas

I know Lizzy couldn't believe it, got enough spares to last a while.

the funny thing is my wishbone is making a right old clunk when I go over speed hump and I couldn't afford to get decent ones.

cheers guys. I am tempted to get rid of some of the spares but then if I do I'll know I'll need them :y

Its certainly better than being dumped on by the big Reindeer in the sky.. ;D
