Title: Would this be a major problem..

2000 `W` Reg Vauxhall Omega 3.0 V6 - Starts & Drives - Slight Oil Leak From Engine..£695

it looks very nice etc, just wondered about the "slight" oil leak..

ps sorry if i`m in the wrong place

could very well be leaking rocker/cam covers leaking ..... due to blocked breather - all covered in the maintenance section.  :y :y

No doubt cam covers... But if it has metal covers, maybe a crank seal leak.

Oil leaks are usually from cam covers, oil cooler pipes, upper sump, lower sump, front and rear crank seals.

Oil leaks are usually from cam covers, oil cooler pipes, upper sump, lower sump, front and rear crank seals.

Mine was the rear crank seal ..... the easy one!  ???

I used to smell burning oil after each drive, even after changing cam cover gasket. Changed the lower sump and smell gone.

 :)

At a guess its Rusty bullet? What time you bringing that around tomorrow?
