Title: Bliss after WIM visit
Post by: bob.dent on 02 May 2008, 21:16:51
It's been a nearly a year since I last paid Tony at WIM a visit as I had a few issues that needed resolving with the steering and handling, so have been over there today getting it sorted plus a new pair of front boots. It was good to see Tony and the guys again and was most impressed with his new unit and setup. Tony decided that as my wheels are non-standard for an MV6 Omega he was going to do a custom setup and I've got to say.......WOW! what a difference - it's like driving a different car. :o Gone is the tramlining and bump steer problems I've been having and the steering and braking are so much sharper. :y The facilities he's invetsted in are second to none and the new laser alignment equipment is superb. The new Hunter Hawkeye system he has installed is one of only two in the country.

He's also doing a great deal on tyres - I had 2 new Falken FK452 235x40x17 Y fitted at £172 incl. VAT. :y

Also been trying to talk Tony and his guys to come to the Lakes meet in June and he said he'd really like to come if he gets the time.

Anyway, took quite a few piccies while I was there and will be posting them up in the gallery shortly.

No, Wheels In Motion used to be based in Hemel Hempstead in Herts but now have new unit in Chesham, Bucks. I've heard the guys in Loughborough are supposed to be pretty good aswell.

Sounds great Bob.

My Miggy currently has no power steering and the geometry is way off, so off in fact two new tyres are needed.

Yours sounds positivley angelic.

Glad to hear it.
