The other half isn't looking forward to tomorrow, the "plan" as far as she's concerned is that around 12ish we head to the pubs in town, as is the tradition. The pubs are always busy, everyone in good cheer and i love it when the pipers come in and everyones singing...but as she's pregnant and can't drink she was only planning to stay for an hour then go home and leave me to it.
What she doesn't know is that I have no intention of going to the pub tomorrow, the new plan is that I'll make a nice fry up for breakfast, then tell her we're off somewhere a run in the car. Probably head to Ayr beach, around 60 miles away. Let the dog have a good run, get some nice fresh air in our lungs, it's meant to be a nice day so if not too cold we'll have a bite to eat on the beach, if not the car.
Fair to say she'll be gobsmacked :)
What's everyone else got planned?

Sounds like to good day to me, Ah I don't have a dog right now, and not near a beach. Oh well
So Plan A: We don't like New Year much, loads of people trying very hard to have good time, and mostly failing to do so.
Up to Central London for a late boozy lunch or very early dinner before things get busy, then home for Jules Holland on TV.

Dog walk, roast dinner and then give thanks that the fickin boring, commercialised shite is all over for another year.
Watch all the f e c kless bastards on telly tomorrow who say they have maxed out all of their credit cards and will live on beans on toast until May.
Can't even write f e c kless (breakless) with this daft filter.

As the missus gets in from LA today no doubt she'll be jet-lagged so no plans as such just a nice slap up thai meal. Maybe pannang curry and fried sea bass. If she's up for it I might take her for a walk in the local area but as the Ironman training starts today we'll see how eagre I am after tomorrow's bike session ;D

I'm working today, tonight and tomorow. So I don't expect to do much celebrating, although will probably get a curry when I finish work.
If I wasn't working we'd be heading for Brooklands and a good dinner on the way home.
