having a game with m8 guessing what the photo is, im lost on this and 2 guesses left. done these 3
air vent
switchboard
metal grille

Looks like the holes/vents in the top of my dvd player case.       And that protects the circuit board and everything inside .

I would hazard a guess that its a grille thats erected to protect empty/void properties either on the windows or doors :y
