Hopefully that £230 service was a timing belt.
If so, any other issues are trivial.
Well done.

£430 isn't a great deal for the sort of car you are getting.
Just make sure the belts have been done, if they haven't get them ASAP, the change interval is 40K

Congratulations, looks like a lot of car for the money, and welcome to the forum. You will find it interesting ;D ;D ;D
-
Well, im home safe and sound and in posession of the car 8-)
VERY genuine seller, the car is nothing like its description, it is WAY better, couple of the little bulbs on the dash dont work (heater control ones) and the passenger door doesnt work on the remote, apart from that its all tip top.
Started from cold no problems, no horrible noises, no dodgy fluids, purred like a kitten.
The drive home revaled no knocks clunks or bangs and the car drove perfectly, 85 mph on cruise and returned 30mpg.
So impressed. Daylight will no doubt reval a few marks in the paint but the car is brilliant!!
-
well done :y :y :y thats a nice looking mig
-
That's good news, is it washing or driveing tomorrow then? ;D
-
Thanks, I will get some better pics tomorrow in daylight (even though you all know what they look like lol)

It will be both mate I reckon although it is already very clean but I will still give her a good polish (weather permitting)
OMG ive done it already, its a "she" ;D

Excellent, glad to hear it buddy.
Don't look at the mpg when about town though, it'd bring a tear to a glass eye!
-
LOL I didnt buy it for fuel economy, big comfy cruiser, worlds apart from my 200sx which is built for sheer speed and drift.
On another note im so glad I didnt go after the one I looked at last nite now, this one is so much better in so many ways.
God I sound sad lol

Can I recomend you check when the cam belt AND tensioners were last done. This need to be done every 40K miles else if the belt breaks, or the tensioners fail, the valves hit the pistons, and it gets expensive. However if its OK, and the car is regularly serviced, she will last for many miles. Someone was recently talking about his with 250,000 miles on the clock. :y :y
Enjoy ;D

Welcome to Omega ownership Simon, I will keep an eye out for you as I am just down the road in Twyford. :)
Seems like a good car, and a very good price! If you need any parts let me know (by PM), I have a TC card.

Not bad atall mate to be honest, better than I thought it may be.
The back bumper has cosmetic damage from what looks to be a very light shunt, no bent metal behind it and the rear towing eye cover seems to have departed on the way home :( (it was loose when we went to collect the car last night.)
Just sorted out the inurance and rent for it so its now all ready to roll.
Its got a busy day ahead as the missus wants to go shopping, she likes the look of the car but as yet hasnt been in it.
Just need to spend some time working out what button does what, a couple of them have rubbed down a bit, there is one to the left of the traction control button that ive no idea what its for lol
