Title: dogs nuts is it okay?

right now i have your attention
clearing up today and dropped a hazel nut on the floor my german shepard gave it a sniff then cracked the shell with her teeth and eat the nut i was inpressed so gave her a walnut and she did the same so i gave her a brazil nut and she also opened that!
thought she was very clever to know that,but are nuts bad for dog?

It's a teeny bit late to ask if nuts are harmless now imho ;D
Hopefully your mutt will just leave you a really soft 'present' to clean up in the morning! ;) :y

And, while we're on the subject, chocolate, grapes and especially onions are a no no. All can cause death.
