Post by: tigers_gonads on 11 January 2013, 13:33:36
2 bits of advise for you lot

When tightening up jublee clips up, don't stab yourself in the palm of your hand because it bloody hurts  ::) :'( :'(

The second bit is .............. listen to the missus when she tells you stick a plaster on it before you cover it in greese and it gets infected like MINE  >:(

Just been to the quacks.
After squeezeing it and asking if it hurts  >:( >:( >:(
He decides to pratice his bandageing and has just mummyfied the  ******* thing  >:(

Oh well, been told not to use it for a few days so it gets me out of washing the pots  :)

When tightening Jubilee clips (which are the spawn of the devil in some respects anyway) you should always use an appropriate sized socket, normally 7mm ;)

Hope it heals soon :y

Funny enough, when I turned around (with screwdriver still attached to hand) my lad had one in his hand that he had been sorting the bagpipes with  ::)
I'm glad he didn't say anything  :-X :-X ;D

Hope you mend quickly  :y I have had something similar to this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flexible-Shaft-Hose-Clip-Driver-7mm-Hex-Hexagon-socket-and-flexible-shaft-/261150374115?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item3ccdc678e3 for many years. It has proven itself many many times.

Yeah, did the same, but through my index finger. Sat in A&E, finger in the air, with drill sticking through it, and doc says....'Whats wrong with you ,then' ;D ;D ;D Pillock!!!!
Numbed it, then spent ages trying to find a set of pliers, to eventually unscrew it out of my finger :'( :'( :'(
