Title: Goodbye
Post by: Boggy on 14 January 2013, 11:05:35
Just thought I'd leave a polite message to say goodbye as I am leaving the forum, since I am ridding myself of my mig, big thank you to Symes for all your time and effort, I'm sure the new owner will have more luck than myself. I won't be owning another omega again, onwards and upwards as far as I'm concerned. Cheers to all who have helped with their suggestions to some of my problems etc.

Yep. STMO doesn't even own an Omega. He has to make do with a crappy French motor.

I'm definitely going, I rarely get time to use the forum though I tried, the car would have been scrapped before Christmas if it hasn't been for Symes, fortunately it has got a new home to go to so not being crushed. I don't have time for cars when they give me crap like this, it may be a crank sensor but I've wasted too much money and I won't pay anymore. The code reader can't read anything but my mechanic friend said that sometimes they don't throw up codes, I've had it up to the eyeballs with it, it's going and not my problem anymore. I've got a diesel to see me through to July when I'll be getting a blue motion golf or passat, that's the idea anyway. I'll stop here for a little bit longer to read your messages but I will be deleting my account tonight or tomorrow. Cheers for the messages though

I sometimes think people forget that even the youngest Omega is getting on a bit now so there are bound to be problems looming but there's not much that can't be sorted  ;)

I agree, although Ive'd 'moved on', there is still a wealth of info available from members on other makes of cars, sometimes better than joining another forum.
