Title: Elite Tyres on CDX
Post by: Skinflint13 on 17 January 2013, 16:21:06
Hi gents two questions...

1) had a puncture last night on Omega CDX, when i took wheel off notices a number of cuts on iside wall equidistant around, but could not see anything that could have caused this ? anyone every experienced something similar ?

I have a OMEGA ELITE estate, can I do a straight swap on tyres, I believe thy are slightly larger, will this cause a problem ?

Thanks in advance for your support.

If you go from a 15" rim to a 16" or a 16" rim to a 16" rim, there's less tyre wall on the 'new' wheel so you'll notice a very very slightly harder ride. It's nothing that noticeable though ....... they won't rattle your fillings out.  ;)
