I got tailgated by a fairly large wagon for about half mile & I mean really close.
I then joined the slip to go south on the A3M hardly signalled right to merge onto the m/way. Then got almost buried by my tailgater, who decided he couldn`t follow me any longer but passed me on the slip & then took his time about it. Instead of accelerating I`m slowing down pretty sharpish to miss the rear end of this thing. Aggressive driving puts it mildly in my estimation. Once I did join I realised his engine governer must have kicked-in because I matched his speed which was around 50 mph. Bloody minded bully boy. If he was expecting a reaction out of me he might now get one A company web addres was splashed all over the cutain side wall, I`ve now got half a mind to dob him in.

Yep, I would, if a UK truck. Seem to see lots of idiot HGV drivers there. Mini in front of me nearly got squashed there. Had I not seen it start to unfold and made some space for the Mini it would have been nasty. This truck was Latvian, so I shouldn't imagine his boss would give a monkey's. >:(

Take it further with the company >:( next time it might be someone else, and the outcome could be worse due to driver being frightened or nervous >:(

Worth a call. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that the tractor unit (assuming it was an Artic) is from the same company but worth a go :y
It's such a shame that a few HGV drivers get a bad name for the many good ones ::)

Do it. It might carry more weight if the subject of a police report (useless in itself though). See how big and clever he is when his employer is threatening his job. Shouldn't drive like an idiot.

Yup, absolutely do it - bullies in large vehicles really do my nut. I encountered one the other night - he was driving a bus.. I (we) were trying to pull out of a side road onto a major road at a T-junction with only 20yds visibility either way due to corners and a bridge, and a constant stream of traffic.. after a little bit he started flashing his lights at me; continually.
When I finally peeled out of the junction (and left half my Goodyear UG-8's on the tarmac, TC off) I waited until he was behind me again and then decided to sit for a bit at the next set of green lights.. that peed him off even more ;D :-[
Thinking back, I wish I'd just phoned up and reported him for bullying tactics at the time (granted I might have had to embellish a little, although at one point I started to wonder if he'd start pushing me out he was that close!)..

come on
you dont mention the speed limit so we assume he wasnt speeding, and the road was clear
if you cant go faster than a truck then the best thing to do is pull over and get out of the way
you say the truck could only do 50mph so how come you nearly hit the back of it when on a moterway when you should have been long gone.
yes the lorry driver is wrong but i dont think you are blame less either.

Did that when I had had a lorry up my @rse in the Westfield once. >:( 1st gear launch to 7500 RPM just as the lights were about to go red. Judging by the light display in the mirror as I disappeared, he liked it. ;D
