Title: misfire
Post by: manolo on 19 January 2013, 22:44:42
Hi
I have to start new topic to avoid confusion

here is my problem:
omega 2.6V6 y26se
only in idle sometimes blink EML light
unstable work in idle, and strange sound from exhaust
errors 0300 0301 0303 0305

so far I do next (with no improvement):
replaced ignition coil 1-3-5 & crank sensor with new one
engine cleaned with motorvac carbon cleaner
injectors removed, cleaned, meashured and switched place 1-3-5 with 2-4-6
2 bottle Wurth - System Cleaner for valve cleaning
sparks have only 1 year and 20000km and looks OK (BOSCH 4 electrode)
tested if it take bad air with start spray

my mechanic suspect to damaged valves
is it possible to be something else?
can O2 sensor cause problem?

do compression test ------- your codes mean cylinder 1+3+5 are at fault so Coil set on 1+3+5 is no good :y

You'll be down on power and fuel economy. Worse case scenario is if they are too far you bend the valves. I take it you haven't got the proper cam locking/timing kit then
