Title: Soft touch
Post by: BazaJT on 20 January 2013, 08:28:53
I see an immigrant mother has declared what was already known, namely that this country is a soft touch. She apparently is on benefits worth 14k a year and will not have a full time job!14k a year, which will be free of stoppages of course,is more than I now earn[gross]whilst doing a 40hr week! Her money should be cut[if not stopped]as she won't entertain the idea of employment.

Another 1.5m on the way from Bulgaria and Romania, next January.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Lithuanian seem to be some of the worst from somebody I know. She and her English husband live apart, so they have a council house each, she claims for everything she can for her and her daughter and tops it up with cash in hand cleaning jobs.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Dob her in...I would >:(

I had a incident where DWP sent me reams of paperwork, trying to prosecute someone on benefits ( who did everything she could to get employment, redundant case ) She helped on our bar 3 times in 18 months and was paid £90 in gratuities, but DWP was informed by a 'jealous female' and they persisted with the case.
I phoned them, I went garrity at the bloke on the other end, suprised I never got done for it, but they backed off from this woman, who, had by that time, got part time work, and was not on benefits.
These immigrants 'steal' millions, but DWP are only interested in 'easy' targets >:(

Rant coming on...but subsiding

So very very wrong. If hes good enough to serve this country with honour and bravery and be decorated for doing so,why cant we treat him with dignity, respect and gratitude.Particularily when you read the examples earlier in the thread - and Im sure most of us personally know of similar people,I certainly do.
We seem to have come so far,so fast,in the wrong direction in many respects. Cant see it getting better any time soon either.
Oh for a govt which governs with principle and conviction instead of what we have had since the end of Thatchers era - govt. by focus group, opinion poll and downright self serving dishonesty. :(

I have said on here before...there's my mother, who joined the forces in WW2, was stationed in London all through the blitz, my dad was abroad in the RAF, and mother is 'forgotten' by the powers that be in this country. We get no assistance for her at all, now aged 92.
Services personell and ex services are treated like pure sh1te.

Should my mother live to be 'the last person alive that fought in the war' she would become a hero overnight. Until then, she does not exist !!!!!
