Title: Kevin Ash RIP
Post by: Rods2 on 23 January 2013, 13:33:02
Sadly the DT have reported today the death of Kevin Ash during a BMW bike launch in South Africa.

I'm sure many bikers on here will not only have read many bike reviews by Kevin in MCN and other bike columns like the DT, but will also remember him for his technical sections in MCN, which showed his depth of understanding on many different technical aspects on motorbikes.

RIP

Very shocked and saddened to read this.He was a great writer on all things biking over many years.
Intelligent motorcycling journalists are a very rare breed. He will be sadly missed. :'(

Oh this is crap news. I've always looked forward to his columns in MCN and his own web site was excellent. If he thought something was rubbish he would always say so. My sincerest regards to his family  :(

This is genuinely shocking. I, too, always looked forward to his articles in MCN which were always interesting though sometimes challenging.  A man never afraid to say what he thought.

RIP
