www.firefox.com

I kid you not, IE 7 can get very unstable and there is no simple fix bar a full Vista re-install, which will only be a temporary solution anyway. Go for FireFox....

(or Safary if you are that way inclined...)

Install Windows XP Pro instead.

Sorry, that wasn't very helpful, but my limited experience with Vista put me off it completely. >:(

XP Pro 32 bit isn't that broken MS would be better off fixing it than developing rubbish like Vista

When problems occur with the Internet try going into 'Internet Explorer', click on 'Tools', then 'Internet Options'; 'Delete'  'Temporary Files' and 'Delete' 'Cookies'.  This should clear those files down and clean up your Internet Explorer. :y

Hopefully that should resolve your issue ;)

To be honest i doubt if it will resolve this particular issue, but cleaning the cache and cookies is generally a good idea.

You can also use this program:

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

(just click on the green arrow on the top right hand corner)

it is very good and completely spyware free, though you will have to untick the 'Install google searchbar' thingy while installing it.... it will give the PC a good clean-up.

I dont know what the fuss is about, I run Vista with no problems or quirks!  In fact I am upgrading my XP MCE machine to Vista tonight because the Media Center is more stable under Vista and I have more functionality....

Get a copy of IE7 and run an install - it will try and put right any problems with your existing IE7 installation.

PM me your email address and i'll email you IE7 setup file.

I don't think this is actually possible with Vista - the IE7 install only runs on XP sp2... IE7 is built-in with Vista

I was thinking would a repair install fix it but iirc Loo-knee only got a restore cd with his lappy.
Any way to repair the install without a real vista install disk?

IE supposedly "built in" with windows 98,me,xp & Vista - thats what all the hastle was about with MS a few years back.  If u re-run an IE install IE will try to repair existing install.

My Vista/IE7 combo works fine with OOF.  Check your activex plugins, and disable any that not needed.

Current versions of TIS2000 work fine, but are, I believe, unsupported if it doesn't work.  Min/Max/Close buttons are misaligned, thats only fault I have found.

I set-up an old laptop with Windows 2000 Professional specifically for running TIS2000 and EPC. That is, if I ever get them, which I don't, that is...  :-X :-[
