Title: key fob reprogramming

Hi all im getting angry now with my fob not locking mainly but popping the boot open too. Ive seen another 3 button cheap on fleabay but how do i reprogramme it or does it need a pro to do it?

It requires the security code for the vehicle and suitable programming equipment to add a new fob.

An alternative is to get your existing one repaired, there are a few who do it on ebay

The OOF shop sells the switches, if you can solder yourself. If the rubber has gone, not and easy solution, as the replacements are very, very poor.

I bought 2 replacement rubbers off ebay, genuine Vx (unopened in hologrammed Vx packs with part no & bar code), for about £3 each a while back - no probs to date.

GM ones would be ideal. I can never find them, and the pattern rubbers are shite!
