I think it just adds to the theory that this planet has had "civilisation" before, possibly many times. The ancient battery found in a pyramid, the brass geared thingy found in the Med.

Or failing that things like coal and oil are nowhere near as old as we think they are. And are possibly renewable sources of energy  ;D

Or of course carbon dating science etc. is not quite as accurate as they think  ::)

It is obviously very interesting and thought provoking.

Great find Cem! :y :y :y

However to be the cynic I am without empirical evidence, I find it strange that "extra terrestrial" life that could travel billions of miles using space ships of enormous complexity, with probably organic or / and electronic functions to propel itself and allow 'life; to survive inside, would use a obviously crude cog and rail more suited to Victorian England during the Industrial Revolution.  Sorry, but just cannot accept that, and it does seem rather as a Piltdown man type of "find".

Now a previously unknown tribe of prehistoric man constructing a piece of crude machinery - who knows?!  We know nothing yet! ;)

Don't know anyone who owns a car anywhere near 15 years old. Cars should be made to self-destruct after ten years, it would keep a lot of undesirables off the road

Civilisation self destructed many years ago and few survivors carried forward a "crude" knowledge of previous technology or was it ET?

Lizzie if an alien talks to a tv and says "I'm alien" I have no doubt you wont believe ;D :y

No, I will not as aliens, who are obviously far superior in their technology should not need a TV to announce themselves!  In addition someone genuinely from somewhere in the Universe would not know themselves as an "alien" but introduce themselves as the Clangers from planet XXXXXXTRLH, just right of the fifth great galaxy of the inner tashery, all spoken in their language, but translated to our ears to an Earth language, most likely English! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Russia. Isn't this the place where a respected newspaper carried a story of a man who swallowed a seed and had a tree growing inside him?
It's proper vodka in those parts.
