Hey there is nothing wrong with "farmers". It actually looks remarkably clean inside for a farmers tractor car. Got to be worth 99p punt.

Exactly the same symptoms as a friends DTi recently (see the post by 'markiii' in Gen Help) .. I wonder if it's as simple as it needs a new fuel filter after sucking up some crud?

If it was an estate I'd take a punt at that price.

I just spotted that.. still I've made longer trips to collect cars before (like deepest darkest Wales to collect the XJ12 ;D) :)

This would be Vauxhall's own 2.2 DTi engine in this one unlike the BMW Diesel engined 2.5 TD the 2.2 DTi wasn't available with automatic transition if I remember correctly.  :)

Thanks for that, this is the rubbish one then I gather.
Some call it that but you could say that about any engine that hasn't been maintained without regular services, especially if abused, had a hard life etc. Just my opinion  :)
